One day I was walking around. I was thinking of things to do. I loved pokemon, and never got why SOOOO many people loved generation 1. So, I went to a game stop. I looked for fire red or leaf green. Then, in the new isle, surprisingly, I found pokemon red. I put it on the counter. The cashier scanned It. It was $5.50. I walked back home. I was happy. Very happy. The cashier didn’t get all scared when he handed it to me, so it wasn’t going to be a hack. I got home. Being a 2000s kid, It was surprising to know I still had my game boy advance.I plopped the game in my game boy. The menu screen popped up. It was the normal fire red screen. I press start and made a new file. Do do da, professor oak popped up. I said I was a boy, my name was Cyrus, and my rivals name was Isaac, my brother. Then started the adventure. I walked outside. It was raining. I talked to a girl fishing. She said, “It’s raining today. This is a good day to go fishing!” I walked into oak’s lab to find him in their. When I talked to professor Oak he said, “What bad whether today.” Then, my rival came inside.
Isaac said, “Grandpa, I heard you had pokemon. This better be true. I had to walk in the rain to get here!” Then oak said, “Why yes, I do have pokemon. Cyrus, choose your pokemon. Isaac, be patient.” I chose bulbasaur. My rival actually chose squirtle. We didn’t battle. When I went out of the lab, Oak yelled, “WAIT! I need to give you this pokedex. I think this could help you uncover all the pokemon out there. Have fun!” I walked into the tall grass and found a pidgey. I fainted it, gained experience, and took off. I got into route one, and got greeted by a young kid. He said, “My mommy said I had to be nice! You look like a good person! Take these!” I received 5 pokeballs and running shoes. This game was not fire red. This was like a hidden region. I continued.
I had to take a different path to a different route. This was AWESOME! The people liked me, my rival wasn’t a butt, and my pokemon were faint machines! Lavender town didn’t even have the pokemon tower. Was this pokemon fun land? I had gotten to the elite four. I had a venusaur, beedrill, nidoking, pidgeot, machamp, and golbat.
The elite four and the champion were a piece of cake. I got home afterwards. My rival was in my home. He said, “We made you cake to congratulate you on your win!” After the day was over, I saw my character sleeping. Then it happened. An earthquake. It woke my character up. When the earthquake ended, I went outside. It was no earthquake. There were psycho pokemon everywhere. The people besides me and my rival were a pixel mess. They were coming. For me. I thought to myself, in the game, “I am NOT using my pokemon!” My trainer went inside and grabbed a glitched looking kitchen knife. He went outside. He killed pokemon. He didn’t faint them, but turned them into pixel messes. After 2 minutes, the brutal massacre stopped.
The music became silent. My pokemon got out of their pokeballs. They stared at me. They cried. Then my Venusaur talked in English. “I know you want to save us and keep us alive, but you went so far to kill all of these pokemon? How twisted are you?” Then moltress came. My character stabbed the moltress and it was a burning pixel mess. My Venusaur said to me, “This is how much you love us? We might as well help you. These wild pokemon are trying to kill the person that made us the fainting beasts that we are. We should help you now.” Then, without my control, my character and my pokemon started making giant pixel messes. The game boy saved the progress. Then after it was over, my pokemon and my character said, “We did it!” My god.

A dark breeze flowed thought the forest of darkness.Barley any humans come here so we dark types florish.I was under my favorite tree in the forest when my friend Absol walked up to me.
“Hey guess what Umbreon?”Absol said excitement showing in its eyes while his fangs were in a smile.
“What?”was the only response that I could think of.
“I found a cave want to check it out?”Absol asked as if tring to say”Your to much of a scary cat to come along” by his mocking tone.
An adventure?That did sound fun.Besides there is nothing exiting here so I shrugged and said”Ok lets go”.
Oddly a trip to here is usually a night’s journey but the odd thing about this forest is that day never comes.Many ghost types oddly live near the cave or are they garding it?
“Kekekeke why hello little Umbreon,” a Banette said knowing my low level and recently just evolved.
“What do you want?We are just entering the cave,”Absol said.
“Well I sugest you don’t enter,”Banette said.
We igrored him and just ran straight in.Nothing absolutely nothing was in there.But the scent of blood filled my nose.Absol looked at me as if telling me that he smells it too.We exited and went back.What kind of cave smells like blood but nothing is in it was the only thing I was thinking about.Tomarrow was the sun festival,the only day in every year that it is not night and the sun shows for 24 hours.Many dark types where helping with decorations but I was getting supplies.I wanted to know what is in that cave.My rings glowed with determination as I thought of discovering the cave’s secret.
“Hey why aren’t you preparing for the festival?”Absol called out while I was putting berries,seeds,orbs,elixers,a scarf and hat,along with iron thorns.
“Im going to investigate that cave!”I announced.
“Well I’m not going with you this time,”Absol said and left.
I traveled to the cave and the festival began for the sun and blue sky was exposed.I was wearing a non-stick cap along with a pecha scarf.My bag was stuffed as I ventured into the cave.My rings lit up and everything in it was visible.The cave walls are covered in blood and I saw a Zorua speeking to itself.
“The cursed festival…they are all going to perish!Has one left?That one would be safe…”Zorua said before I interrupted.
“Wait what are you talking about?How will they perish?”I questioned it.
“Oh your supposed to be there aren’t you?Ok I will tell you.Every hundred years the festival is attacked.Do you know why?Well its because the festival calls Moltres and it destroys those who go there!”Zorua panicked.
“Why would Moltres do that?”I asked a chilling feeling went through me as if I went into icey water.
“The festival was meant to bring the sun for a day and decrease population that is what the ancient designed it for!”Zorua cried.
“Ok,”I said.”I will go see if any one is still alive so I can warn them!”
I raced there but I was too late.Blood was every where.Cut open bodies along with charred ones where every where.I saw Absol lying there and I gasped.Most of Absol’s blood was spilled.He was barley alive.
“Esc…..caaape whiiile yoooou stiiil caaan,”Absol weakly said.
I turned my head and saw Moltres and it dived straight toward me.I ran and I left but it didn’t follow.I am one of the only surrivors from this.Later I
found Absol and healed its wounds but the rest were long gone.Moltres I heard was caught by a human so it never threatens us again but we have our memories scarred by the beast.Never trust ledgends or they will find you.

Hacked Pokemon game set (Trent’s side)
I was bored when I saw a blue gameboy advance game cartridge laying on the couch. I looked at the title and it said Pokemon. 2 questions formed in my head.
1. What version is this? And 2. When did we get this cartridge? I asked my sisters about it and they had the same questions I thought of. We sat on the couch with the game in one of our Gameboy Advance sps. The opening was completely skipped and so was the title. In the intro, it shows Arceus’s sprite saying, “Chibi, you and your friends must save our world.” And sure enough my fan character(Chibi) showed and shrunk abit. Then The game started with my character in my room.I checked my trainer card and it showed my fan character doing his Victory stance. I checked my pokemon as well and my character was in it without any moves but has big stats but his level was 5. I closed out of the pokemon section and saved. I turned the game off and we watched tv for awhile. After looking up for any traces to see if this game was a hack my sisters came into my room with with 2 more pokemon gameboy advance games. Lauren’s cartridge was purple and Gwen’s cartridge was black. Thay inserted their new pokemon games into their Gameboy advance sps And they were thrown into the game as their fan characters. We decided to connect the games after my sisters saved. We hooked up our games with the thing that let’s gameboys connect with each other. And when we left our houses, our characters walked up to each other and were talking about normal stuff and then, we walked to route 1 together and saw team rocket using whips on pidgeys and saw some pidgey sprites on the ground that were too tired to move. A rocket walked up to the tired Pidgey group with an axe and I made my character intercept him with a… sword? Gwen’s character(Hichigo), sliced some grunts with whips in half and Lauren’s character(Rare), blasted the rest with energy blasts. The pidgeys seemed happy that we destroied those Rocket Grunts and a text box showed up that said,”Chibi: I’m so glad that you guys are safe, but Hichigo, why did you go overboard again?” We pressed A since we were actually playing on the out field. More texted showed up that said,”Hichigo: I like killing people, shows a ton of blood.^_^” We pressed A again and more text showed up that said,”Rare: Shouldn’t we get going to see your father, Dialga in Time town?” And Gwen asked me,”Trent, I think this game is a hack.” and I said,”I know that.” We went to Time town and their were dead bodies on the ground covered in their guts. Hichigo said,” What is going on here?” What the heck, did the game actually talked? We kept going until Chibi fell down a pit fall trap after 10 steps and it was a big one. Chibi flew out with his wings spread out. I checked his trainer card and it was Chibi with wings and some big scratches and one of them was bleeding. My character was using his wings to move around and I saw Dialga since Gwen and Lauren were buying items. Dialga said,”My son, I’m sorry that this happened to the town, I was too weak….and I got real-” He collapsed right there and Chibi said,” Father…FATHER!” I checked my team and saw that Dialga was in it. I checked his stats and it’s hp was at 1, it’s status was near death. I closed out of the menu and pressed A on my Character and the only option was Like Give. I selected it and a text box appeared that said:Chibi used Life Give. Dialga was healed. Chibi died. And then the saved on it’s own. And this time, I was put to a title screen and it said Pokemon. The picture showed a red Arcues in a black background. Gwen looked at my screen and said,”You better continue with the game Trent. I think this is important.” So I did and a text box showed up that said,” Arceus: He gave his live up to save his father, I’ll give him his life back as well.” I pressed A and more text said,” Arceus used Life Returner.” I pressed A and more text said,: Chibi was revived. Chibi learned Live Returner. And then the game saved again and I was put to the title screen but it changed. The title now said Pokemon Chibi version. And It showed a picture of Chibi in his standing stance. And to this day, me and my sisters never played those hacked games in a while.

Love is impossible.
I found the object one day next to a bush. Now that i’m writing this i regret picking it up. I look at it, “a phone” i thought. It buzzed, i answerd, “yes” I said. “Oh thank goodness” the voice said “you found my phone, i’m calling from work, i must have dropped it in a hurry.” “Okay” i said, sounding stupid. “Tee hee” she laughed. “Whats your name?” “Tom” i responded. “Thats a cool name” she said with a hint of laughter. “My name is Yancy.” “Okay”, once again, sounding stupid. “Tee hee”, she laughed, ” well do you think you can give me back my phone?” ” yes” i said blankly. ” okay, when i get off work i’ll come and get it.” “Okay”, i said. ” better yet how about you just hang on to it?” ” okay” ” good, i’ll get it soon, bye Tom” ” bye.” I hung up. ” she seems nice”, Zekrom said from my pokeball. I ignored him, many days passed with out a word from the girl. At last when i was walking to Nimbasa i got a call on her phone. She said she was at the farris wheel. I ran, excited to she her. The truth is that i’ve grown a bit attached to her. I saw her a the wheel, she was very pretty. She smiled and asked if i was Tom. I said “yes.” She took back her phone and asked if i wanted to ride the wheel with her. I wanted to scream and run on asap. But all i could say was “yes”. We got on and i held her hand, i could hear a muffled scream from her. She blushed and leaned on me as we went up. I was sad it was over. But when we got off she asked if i wanted to be her boyfriend. I said “yes” and she looked very happy. Then she traded me a Meowth for my Psyduck. As i saw her leave i wish i could have said more but i can’t. We traded more pokemon and went on the farris wheel, a lot. One day she asked if i actually loved her. I said “yes” like i always do. But she looked hurt. She yelled at me about how i always say yes to everything. And she asked me to tell her to say “i love you”. But all i said was “yes”. She ran away saying how bad of a boyfriend i was. She cried as she ran. I felt so angry and sad. A single tear ran down my face. I will never be normal. I will be many things, a champion, A pokemon master, a son. But this day will never leave my memory. I was born with a speech problem. I’m only able to say one word at a time. Only “yes”, “okay”, “no” and any pokemon related things. But i will always have this eternal pain within me. Never able to say “I love you”. My real name is Red. And i will always hate the day i was born. Goodbye Yancy. I love you.

Black Death
So, one day after Summer Break began, I was asking my mom
“PLEASE can we go to New York City? I have been waiting three years for this game! Nintendo World is only a short drive away!”
“Short drive!? We are in Maryland!”
“But all we need to do is go on the Baltimore Beltway, then go on John F. Kennedy Memorial Highway, go through a few tollbooths on the Delaware Turnpike, then after going on the New York Turnpike, your in Rockefeller!”
“I said no!”
“GRRRF” I grunted.
I stomped upstairs to my PC. I looked for some music, but for some reason this Pokemon game came up. “Pokemon Black Death version…” I murmured to myself. I decided it was worth it and downloaded it. It was a third gen game so it worked for my Visual Boy Advance. There was the normal Sapphire title screen that lasted around two seconds as I started the game up. A odd, demented wall of faces and a quick beeping noise came up, and then I was in the game as Red. I decided to look in my bag. I had a Laevateinn from some old story I heard about in history, a bloodied hammer, six broken Poke-balls, a odd pocket watch, and a stacked item called pile of knives. I was in a strange place with a river of mist. I floated on the mist, slowly reaching the end of the cave I was in. After a long walk, I came across my Lugia I named Lew. I interacted with it and a battle began. Red stayed there, not sending out any Pokemon at all. The options was fight, bag, status, and friendship. I decided I would look through the fight option. Red had Stab, Punch, Kill, and Torture. I decided I would hit friendship, when a text box appeared saying “Friendship? Love…? I… I hate… no I shouldn’t say… I… I… I LOVE YOU!!!” and after that the text box saying “Lugia looooooooooohate loves you and opened his arms. Fall into his embraced?” and I chose yes. Another text box appeared saying “Lugia’s embrace was a trap!” and a anime-like animation of Lugia slowly strengthening his grasp on Red. Lugia smiled dementedly as he saw Red’s face going from red to blue, but Red was still conscious. Lugia wrapped his neck around Red’s mouth, then his neck. Lugia then bit into Red’s neck, and it went back to the actual game. Red began running without me touching any buttons and rammed into my… Emboar? A text box came up saying “Why didn’t you die to Lord Black Death?” I decided it probably wasn’t a good idea to interact with it, so I moved on down into an odd hallway now that I was in control. Lavender town music slowed down was playing I saw something in the corner of the screen. I took one step and someone in a grim reaper skin said “Once you can face your own death without fear, you might go into a deeper side. (The lavender town music sped up here) Do you think you can face your own death without fear, Jeff? (Jeff is my name I use for creepy pasta sites)” and two options came up. The Lavender Town music was sped up a lot more than usual. I decided to choose yes… which now that I look back might have been the gravest mistake I ever made. Red smiled with a broken look and tears streaming down his face. Two giant wings shaped like hands began to pull Red back into Lugia’s room. An anime-like animation of the grim reaper guy coming out from the shadows as Red was grabbed by Lugia played. I got kind of confused at this point. Is this game supposed to be scary? A text box came up saying “You must be so confused, you didn’t realize your current situation, did you, Jeff?” I felt a hand on my shoulder. I didn’t want to turn around- I was too scared to. As I was about to turn around a text box came up and the animation showed Red’s literally blue face. Red spoke in a text box saying “Don’t turn around!” and I felt something start to breathe into my ear loudly. I heard a deep voice say slowly “Turn around…” and, finally, I did. No one was there. My Visual boy advance wasn’t working, so I decided to get up and go ride my bike. My muscles wouldn’t work as I got to the door. My muscles were tightened, but they would not even force my leg out the door. I was thrown onto my bed by some kind of force. My VBA came up and an error said “Thank you for playing with Black Death. Black Death is so happy, he could be right behind you.” I swiftly turned around and the Lugia appeared behind me. I woke up with a jolt. I felt something fly pass me. I stepped out of bed and looked out my window. Nothing was there. After I almost fell asleep in bed, I felt something press down on my body. A Lugia silhouette was perched on my chest and said “Hello. I am Black Death. Welcome to my household.” Then, Lugia disappeared. I laid there in bed for years. I finally “woke up” and decided to tell my tale.

Karen
My name is Karen White I became a trainer at the age of thirteen I know it’s a little later than most people, but I had to help out around the house we were a poor family, and it didn’t help that my little brother was autistic. I was Professor Rowan’s assistant for three years he didn’t pay me very well, but it helped the family a little. A few weeks before I turned thirteen my parents told me they finally had enough money to support the family without me, and that I could become a trainer I ran and told rowan the good news. When my birthday came I woke up really early and ran to Rowan’s lab to get my Pokémon, unfortunately he was not able to catch any starter Pokémon, but he did have a baby Buizel that had just hatched, I was so happy Buizel was one of my all time favorite Pokémon I ran home to show my parents and eat breakfast and set out on my own adventure. I started from route 202 I wasn’t lucky enough to meet any other trainer’s, I made it to Jubilife city that night. I couldn’t believe it it was amazing there were so many tall buildings, so many people I teared up at the sight of it I stayed at the Pokémon center that night. I woke up around noon the next day and spent the whole day exploring the city I stayed at the Pokémon center again that night it took me awhile to fall asleep I just couldn’t believe I was actually on my own it didn’t feel real I kept thinking I’m dreaming. I woke up the next day around nine in the morning and set out for Orebourgh city, I was able to battle with some trainers that day on route 203 I made it to Orebourgh gate that night and camped near the entrance, the next I made my way through the cave it only took me around three hours to make to Orebourgh city, I healed my Buizel at the Pokémon center and went to the gym where I got my first badge I was so happy the gym leader was really easy. I made it to floaroma town in about a week that town was so beautiful there were flowers everywhere you looked stay there a few days then set out for Eterna forest I was able to catch a Pachirisu on route 205 and I took a tour of the valley windworks were I saw a Drifloom, I didn’t get too close to it I had heard all the stories about that Pokémon so I ignored it later that day I made it to Eterna forest where I got lost for a few days I met a trainer who gave me directions he said once I saw the Chateau mansion I would be near the end of the forest. I made it to the Chateau mansion and I was struck with anger how could those people live in such a big house when I was poor my whole life, I saw a little girl playing in the lawn and she waved, I just gave her the finger and walked off. I made it to Eterna city that night, the next day I walked around the city and saw a bike shop I decided not to get a bike I wanted my adventure to last as long as possibly, I also saw some men in the park building a statue of a Pokémon I had never seen before I wondered if I would ever meet that Pokémon. I made it to Mt. Coronet that night and slept in the cave, it took me two weeks to get to Hearthome city. The next few months flew by really fast, I had finally made it to Snowpoint city I was so glad to make to the Pokémon center there I was freezing I didn’t leave the Pokémon center for a few days I got my badge and had to make it travel all the way back to Celestic town I didn’t have any flying pokemon I only had my Buizel, my Pachirisu, and two new Pokémon sneasel and a Froslass. I made it there in about a month it was so hard to move through all that snow, but I did it after accomplishing that I told myself I could do anything. Five months later I bet the elite four and the champion, and made my way to the Kanto region. I breezed through the Kanto region in only seven months, and made my way through the johto region in nine months, after that I traveled to the Unova region were it took me two years to beat the elite four there. I was seventeen when I made it to the Hoenn region that’s where everything went wrong, I was really enjoying myself there it was easily my favorite region, the people there were so nice and caring I met so many cool types of Pokémon until met a Houndoom it looked hurt and scared so I tried to help it, but when I got close it reacted and blew fire at me I shielded myself with my arm I screamed in pain I got out my Glaceon and made her take Houndoom out, I made her attack it until it was no more. The pain in my arm was so terrible it would not stop burning, I got my Pidgeot out and flew to the nearest Pokémon center I ran in there screaming in agony and I collaspsed. I awoke a few hours later with my arm still burning Professor Birch was there I screamed at him to help me, and he just looked at me with sad eyes then he finally spoke. “Karen I am immensely sorry, but you were burned by a Houndoom their flames has a toxin that make the flame never go away I’m afraid that you will have that pain in your arm for the rest of your life”. I couldn’t believe what I was hearing, I started screaming and crying at him. It was so unfair how could there be Pokémon that could make you forever why wouldn’t people hunt them down and kill them. Anyways its now been a little over a year since I got burned by a Houndoom I moved to a house on route 217 near Snowpoint city in hopes that the cold snow would help, but it does nothing I tried different methods I heard from other trainers passing by, I put a NeverMeltIce on my arm that did nothing, I Had Froslass blow on my arm with her -60 degree breath that did nothing as well. I’ve sent all my Pokémon to live with Professor Rowan. Today I’ve tried the last method I can find it involved sticking a lot of spell tags on your arm, but of course it did nothing ,so I’ve made up my mind to end it all I can’t live with this pain for the rest of my life I’m only eighteen. I will hang myself when I am done writing this suicide note, I have killed many Houndooms the last year, and I hope whoever finds this note will continue my legacy of hunting Houndooms they need to be whipped out. Now that you know my story I can finally kill myself, I hope in the next life my pain will be gone.

HM02
Glitches and Glitch Pokémon, they can be scary to those inexperienced with them, can they not? Indeed, I recall my apprehension the first time I ever actually caught a Missingno., having heard all the horror stories, all the rumors of wrecked games, deleted save files, and all that stuff. Of course, once I learned that the worst of all that was highly exaggerated, I became much less nervous. I embraced the various Glitch Pokémon, in all their strangeness, as a new and exciting side of the Pokémon world. The same held true with some of the unusual moves some of them know, such as the highly useful evasive technique TM05 (learnable by numerous Glitch Pokémon), and the impractical yet awesome TM28 (exclusive to .4). But there is one move where the implications are just so chilling, you can’t help but wonder if it was coincidental.
A handful of Glitch Pokémon are obtainable by the infamous Mew trick- the well balanced and somewhat cute .4, the speed demon A, the Clefairy/Nidoking pre-evolution LM4… And then there’s h Poké, a Ghost and Poison-type. If you go to catch it, be sure you’ve already obtained a Gengar in your game, lest the Pokédex entry pop up and lock up your game with an endless cry. Once you’ve acquired an h Poké, level it up. Most of you will have caught it at level 7, unless the last Pokémon you battled had its Attack stat modified at all. At level 8, h Poké will learn a move known as HM02. It’s not a terribly practical move- highly inaccurate, in fact. h Poké is the only Pokémon that learns this move, too.
Go ahead. Try out HM02 in battle. Don’t be discouraged if it misses the first few (dozen) times. When it does work, you won’t see an animation. What you will see is the opponent’s HP being lowered, and h Poké regaining HP if it’s lost some. And lots of it, too- HM02 is powerful stuff.
Now… think about this for a minute. Think about the implications here. A mysterious Ghost-type, and it’s the only known being that can learn a move in which it saps the opponent’s stamina away while seeming to do nothing. Imagine yourself in the Pokémon world. Imagine yourself, late at night, encountering a wild h Poké in a cemetery. You can’t relax just because it seems to be doing nothing, because it could in fact be sucking your energy away, and you wouldn’t be able to do a thing about it.
Not so frustrated at that low accuracy anymore, are you?

Pokémon Mystery dungeon, Team Pokémon.
Dear Diary,
Today our rescue team FINALLY reached Lucario rank! I’m so excited! Pi and I are going to throw a party with everyone who helped us out to get this far! Team Alakazam, Caterpies family and friends, Gardevior, Absol, Dugtrio and Digglet, Mightyena, Mew, Latias, Latios, Ninetails, Xatu, and team meanie’s, it wouldn’t be right not to invite them, since we owe a great deal of our success to them, in a way. Oh what am I saying?! I’ll invite EVERYONE! It will be great! Though it might be hard to get enough food for everyone… But I saved so much money in the Persian bank just for this! Right?! We will finally be able to do something with that money instead of leaving it lying around! Having that much money just doesn’t feel right to me.
Anyway, even though I shouldn’t be having dreams anymore, because we saved Gardevior, I’ve been having… very interesting dreams lately. I can’t really tell much from them, but they don’t sound good… I’m worried.
Ah what am I worrying about dreams for? Tomorrow is a big day! I need to prepare and get a good night’s sleep.
I’m actually falling asleep as I write. I should go to bed.
