Night Play

I like to play Pokemon at night. As a note, I dislike Black and White. I have not played them and I don’t like Unova. I think this is why…

I’ve always played Pokemon, ever since I helped people beat FireRed or LeafGreen in my free time in exchange for Pokemon cards. So, by the time I got a DS and a copy of Diamond, I felt unbeatable, like I knew the game already.

Well, a few days in I’m beating gyms at light speed, and it’s almost too easy. I don’t usually play in a strategic way, more like a full out offense…but now I was training my pokemon to the very top without any problem.

So I found this odd, and I decided to play again. I chose a Chimchar again. And once again, I was beating pokemon twice my level with just a Chimchar and never fainting.

Then things got weirder. I knew the coding too well, and it just wasn’t right, how things were going. I put down Diamond and started Soul Silver. By now I realized I could only play at night, or my DS would glitch.

So, I boot up Soul Silver and choose a Cyndaquil. For some reason…none of my Pokemon would evolve. I didn’t know what the hell was going on, but my Pidgey was at level 30 and still just a Pidgey.

Around this time, I just stopped playing. It was too bizarre. Then…I started to DREAM.

I’d be sitting downstairs, doing homework, and I would see things.

Then, I’d been sleeping…and I’d dream of an Infernape, and around his shoulders was a flame, like a shroud. But it was spiked out, like Cyndaquil’s back.

Finally, I booted up Soul Silver on a car ride, needing something to do. For some reason, only Dex, my Furret (He’d finally evolved) was in my party. I go and check the PC, and there they are, my other Pokemon, in a box. But no Cyndaquil.

I still…haven’t found my Cyndaquil.
