Pokemon Drown Version

   It was a normal day, I had came home from work and decided to play one of my Pokemon games. I had recently gotten Pokemon White Version, and I Loved it! But seeing all these new Pokemon and   fancy graphics made me miss the old days when I would play Pokemon Blue with my friends, trying to catch ‘em all before they did. I always finished first, and soon stopped playing to give one of my other friends the glory. Sadly, after Crystal came out, we all sold our Versions to buy the games for each other. One day I decided to relive my childhood and go buy a used copy of Pokemon Blue. I raced home that night, ripping the box open on my way. I was disappointing when I opened it. Inside, was smashed pieces of a Pokemon Yellow, Red, Crystal, Sapphire, and Diamond. I threw the box, and something tumbled out… It was a Pokemon Blue cartridge, all in one piece. I looked it over. Whoever owned it before, had Put a piece of scotch tape over Blastoise, and wrote the word “Drown” on it.  Wondering why this was, I popped it into my Gameboy and started it up. The beginning was normal, except the Pokemon weren’t cycleing. In fact, there werent Pokemon at all….. It was just Blue standing there…. I started it and saw there was no continue, just New Game. Options werent even available. I started it up and sat threw Oak’s speech…… At least, I THINK Oak was who gave me the speech. The screen had random pixel chuncks over it, all that I could really see was the normal text. I named my character Saige, and my Rival George. It started with Saige swimming in the water. I had no control of the character. After twenty minutes of staring at Saige swim, a text box appeared….

    ” Lulu has Drowned”

“Huh?” I said. Lulu was my Blastoise from my original Blue Version. 

    “Angie has Drowned”

That had been my Chikorita from Crystal…

    “ABCDEFGHIJKLMNOPQRSTUVWXYZ……… DROWNED”

I Was majorly confused by that. How On earth could the Alphabet Drown? 

           ”Luke Drowned”

   After all the rest of my Pokemon Drowned, the screen cut to black…. I heard waves comeing from the gameboy, getting rapidy loude each second untill……. A piercing loud scream was heard threw the gameboy. It resumed to Saige in Pallet Town. I walked to the grass, but Oak didnt stop me. Instead, Rowan appeared, and entered a battle with me. He sent out his first pokemon, and I gasped. It was……… MY MOM?!?!?!?!? I Was sent out in battle with only two options : “Drown”, or “Drown!!!!” Knowing no matter what I pressed, my mom was going to drown, I pressed “Drown!!!!”. The screen cut to blue, and I heard a scream. The game resumed showing my mom at the bottom of the ocean, dead. I Clearly knew this was going to keep going on, but I couldn’t stop playing. After days of Drowning all of Kanto, I saw the ghost of everybody I had drowned. All of them were bloody and grotest, and some were missing eyes, arms, legs, etc. I threw the gameboy, put it stayed in one piece. I tryed turning it off, but it wouldn’t. I Then pulled out the cartridge. It was still going………  It was clear that I would have to even destroy my precious Gameboy to end this nightmare. But I glared at the screen, to see  Saige at the bottom of the ocean, surrounded by the rest I had drowned. I Threw the gameboy and smashed it with a hammer. I quickly threw the cartridge in the box, and threw it out my window.

                ~~~One Year Later….~~~

   I sat and played my Pokemon White Version, which I had restarted after the Pokemon Drown version. (I had returned to my  games with all my pokemon dead…)  I  decided to see if I could find anything in my closet to sell so I Could save up for Pokemon Black 2 and White 2. I searched threw and I found a loose Pokemon Blue Version. Not thinking one bit, I Grabbed my brand new Gameboy, and put it in. The game started and frooze at the logo. But instead of it saying Gamefreak, it said…. “Welcome to Drown, Saige….” I Quickly pulled out the cartridge and smashed it. But now, everytime I Play a Pokemon game, I Never have the Gamefreak logo greet me, but I get greeted by “Drown has Drowned….”
