Pokémon Pure Light

My sister and I have always been intrigued by pokémon. And our neighbor was going to throw all of his out, so I asked if I could have them, and he said go ahead.

When We got home, we went through them, Red, Blue, you know, those kind of games, but two of them stood out the most. We popped them into our Gameboy Colors, and then when they started up, it said Pokémon Pure light, and Lurking Shadows, we went ahead and play, the game consisted of mainly third generation pokémon.

I decided to go to the lab, and what happened when I tried choosing Torchic, it said “No.” and then Mudkip “No” and Treecko, the same happened. Finally the Professor, said, ” They don’t want you… take this one.” And I got a weird pokémon called Girgin. Girgin was like a Charmander Cydaquil mix.

Girgin was extremely powerful, and blew past the first 3 gyms with ease. We reached the fourth gym, and after defeating his first Pokémon, a high pitched scream came, and he fell to the ground. Girgin then came out of the pokéball, and looked right at the screen, I tried turning it off. But it kept saying” don’t leave us” or “Stay here forever” at this point I was scared, but I was still intriugued.

Playing the the elite four, it consisted of, Blue, Wallace, Steven, Cynthia, and the champion was a bloody unknown. It looked at you, moved and the room behind it opened up, I got the choices

I tried leaving but it said “Enter… Enter…” So after entering, the professor’s laid there, tied up, bloody, and choked. Unknowns came hoarding in. I ran from the elite four. and as I ran, I ended up in Pallet town. That’s first generation though, I walked inside of Red’s house, and I went by his bed, and then a cutscene came, and Red, walked in.

Red came closer, and the graphic grew clearer into the point you saw Red’s face grinning, and coming closer, it looked like a rag, and a chat box appeared. ~Red used Chloroform~

The game then cut to the point in which you heard your trainer scream, and Red saying ” Yes, squeal for me”

The game ended there, and I haven’t played since.
