Truely Dead, Restless Silver.

When I was 6 or 7, I had recently got into the Pokemon games, silver being my first game.  because if was only my first game, and I didn’t have any other Pokemon games at the time I had constantly restarted and played over and over and over again.  Each time nothing bad happened, no glitches, normal play through, until one time I had started over…this, is my true story has haunted me for over 8 years.
I started my game normally, played through, got my Pokemon(I always got a Cyndaquil, from the beginning I ALWAYS got a fire Pokemon)I continued on to each city, beating my rival, beating bell sprout tower, beating the flying gym, and having a Togepi.  This is where things started to get creepy for me, after being team rocket, I went to the Pokemon center(knowing I was going to face my rival, I HAD to heal my Pokemon).  When I healed my Pokemon, I had saved my game, but when I did, it froze.  This was normal for me, sense the game was old, so I just restarted, but my jaw dropped to what happened when I pressed “CONTINUE”.  My character sprite, the one standing at the counter of the Pokemon Center, was gone.  No eyes, face, mouth, outline, nothing, just gone.  I was able to move, but not far, I could move one step in every direction before getting blocked by a invisible wall.  Was I dead? I had thought so, because Nurse Joy wouldn’t talk to me, no text box, nothing. I had started walking around in random directions relentlessly just to see what would happen.  When I did, my eyes widened to see a text box appeared that said “uuuhhhhhnnnnnn…….” the music was normal, like if a lad trainer who had spotted you walked up and challenged you.  But no one was here this time….when I tapped “A” the figure’s shadow went from it’s dim transition to showing who it was, it was BRUNO of the Elite 4!
 At this point I was thinking “**** I’m screwed….” But he looked normal, while I was black and white. He had only three Pokemon, a hoothoot, level 10.  my Quilava was level 20 at the time, so ember finished it quickly.  The next Pokemon really confused me(then again, I was confused from this whole thing) the game asked if I wanted to switch Pokemon, sense he would send out a Meganium. Seeing this I thought he would easily take care of me being 15 levels higher, but instead this Meganium was level 15, 5 levels lower than my Quilava!  Easily beat once again with ember, but I knew this wasn’t right seeing that Meganium didn’t come untill level 36 like any other Pokemon, but I ignored it.  His final Pokemon then was a pigey, level 15, once again ember finished him.  When the last pokemon was beat, Bruno appeared and said “uhhhnnnnnn…”then the game turned itself off.  To this day, I still never understood any of it, but I still would like to find out.
