The zombie

I went to the nearby gamestop, hoping to find a pokemon game. I browsed the shelves, not one. “Hey, have you got any pokemon games here?” I asked the man at the counter. “All we have is this old shitty thing.” He threw an old copy of pokemon yellow onto the counter. “Okay, I’m cool with that.” I responded. “How much?” The man snorted, “Dude, that thing ‘aint worth nothin’. Take it and leave.” I nodded, thanked him and walked out. I drove home and plopped onto my bed, taking out my old gameboy advanced. “Okay, lets see what we have here.” I clicked in the game and started it up. No continue, eh? Works for me. I pressed new game. Instead of a speech that I expected, it went to a speech bubble. ???: “I told you to stay, you didn’t listen… I told you to wait and you ran away…” The screen showed a pikachu sprite laying on the ground surrounded by blood and Red was standing in front of it. It looked a lot more advanced than normal pokemon yellow. “Hmm, nice game.” I said to myself. Red: ” I don’t know why the hell you didn’t listen, Pikachu.” Red then dropped to his knees. Red: “Why?” Then the screen faded and I got to choose my name, I put AUSTIN as I always do in the older games, since you can’t be a girl in the game, and since that was the boy name my mom would have given me (had I been a boy.) The game started with the normal stuff, me going to the grass and Oak catching me pikachu, I decided to imagine it as a girl and name it Hailey. (my name) After I named her, Oak said, “Hmm… I wonder how your brother is doing with his Pikachu…” I realized he was talking about Red. Well that’s cool! He’s my brother! Oak walked away after that, and I talked to mom one last time before going. When I finally left, no pokemon would appear in the grass no matter how long I walked around in the grass. I decided I’d check my pikachu’s mood. (Don’t ask, i thought it’d be the right thing to do.) It showed a sad face and said: Hailey feels in pain. “Hmm?” I checked her stats. I screamed then and there. Staring at the screen was an eyeless, gory pikachu with a shredded up mouth. I blocked the pikachus picture and looked at the stats. All were at 666 including the level… I got out of the stats and there was her face.Smiling creepily. Taking up the entire screen. Softly playing in the back ground was a slow version of lavender town. “Nooo!!!!” I screamed. I tried to shut it off. Impossible. I threw the system and covered my ears. The system broke, the game stayed in one piece. I took the game and threw it as far as possible. I hope nobody got hold of that game, but we all know it is floating around somewhere…
