My egg-shaped prison finally opened, and I stepped out into the void of darkness. Nothing was to be seen; I could barely see myself. I created a small orb of light and cast it into the distance far in front of me. I began to gather my energy, my body glowing slightly as I did so. With a roar, I fired a Hyper Beam at the orb of light I had cast away, and with a great explosion, searing heat rushed by me as the first stars began to twinkle. Naturally, I soon noticed that they stopped moving and grew dull. I realized I had to have something to control them; to keep them in balance. With a breath; I brought forth the Keepers; one a great four-legged dragon with a diamond embedded in its chest, the other a bipedal dragon with pearls in its shoulders.
Thus came Dialga and Palkia.
Soon after their creation, Dialga and Palkia’s breaths and heartbeats began to manage the flow of time and space; thus the stars moved and glowed once again. At once, I realized something was wrong; there were too many stars, it grew too bright. It needed a contrast; a balance. With another one of my thousand arms casting out, I created the very being that consisted of antimatter, it’s leviathan form taking shape, its six wings spreading as it roared with eminence. With a great shout, half of the stars disappeared into nothingness, thus balancing matter.
Thus came Giratina.
Planets began to take shape as time passed. I realized they were barren; but I knew with the proximity to the planets, there was no hope for life. There was one, however, near the first star I had blasted with my Hyper Beam, that was perfect for life; I named it Gaia, for Earth. As thus, I created Life, and created three beings to create water, earth, and air; one was powerful and could shake the earth with his step, another able to control the ocean at its whim, and the other that balanced them both, kept them from fighting, and created the air which Life could breathe in.
Thus came Groudon, Kyogre, and Rayquaza.
Shortly after the creation of Gaia’s oceans, land, and atmosphere, I realized the land was scattered terribly. It’s tectonic plates crashed against the other; so thus I created a mighty giant, and gave him Rope to move the newborn continents. It moved them into proper position, and I took note of the growths that formed on it as it worked; great forests sprouted on its shoulders and feet. After it finished moving the pieces of Gaia, it created three more giants in its image, one that embodied rock, one that embodied ice, and one that embodied steel.
Thus came Regigigas, Regirock, Regice, and Registeel.
I realized that without Conscience, Life would be dull and not sentient. As thus, I created three beings, one to embody Emotion, one to embody Knowledge, and one to embody Will. The one that embodied Emotion I furnished with a pink crown; the one that embodied Knowledge I furnished with a golden crown, and the one that embodied Will I furnished with a blue crown. I created three lakes for them to sleep deeply inside, their powers to work upon Life as they slept.
Thus came Mesprit, Uxie, and Azelf.
I realized that Dialga’s influence was not yet enough, and there was also a being that did not oversee Forest. As thus, I created a small, grassy being that could travel through the fabric of time itself and ensure the purity of Forest. I showed it to Dialga, master of Time, and Dialga was thus pleased.
Thus came Celebi.
I realized that Gaia was growing far too cold, and thus I peered into its center. I realized it was empty, and thus needed a boiling-hot Core in order to maintain the proper requirements to sustain life; if not, all the work I had put into perfecting Gaia would be for naught. Thus I created a creature of metal plates encasing a body of Lava, and to accompany it, I created Fire to spurt out of sloped holes in Gaia to relieve its inner pressure. Upon being released into the center of the cooling Gaia, it created a core and roared, and Magma was birthed, surging up and warming Gaia.
Thus came Heatran.
I realized as time progressed, the earth needed to change. I created three birds of fire, that which represented Spring, one of ice, that which represented Winter, and one of electricity, that which represented Summer. I realized they needed balance, so I created a bird of storms and balance, its wings majestic. The three birds retreated, and the fourth lay to rest deep beneath an island.
Thus came Lugia, Articuno, Zapdos, and Moltres.
As time passed, I created more creatures to consist of the natural things, such as storm, wind, and fertility. As thus, Life flourished. With the creation of Mew, numerous, more common creatures began to populate the lands. I realized that I had to add another creature to the smorgasbord of Life, and thus I took dust and breathed Life into it.
Thus came Man.
As time passed by, Man began to control the creatures that existed, and thus I sealed away the more powerful of them and left the common ones to face Man. It was cruel, I admit, but it was necessary. Soon, Man began to call my creations Pokemon. Shortly afterwards, Giratina attempted to betray me by attempting to bring me down by attacking me. I easily defeated Giratina, the embodiment of Antimatter, and created another dimension, and sealed it away.
Thus came the fall of Giratina, and the creation of the Torn World.
Soon, Man, with its vileness, took Mew and created a powerful being out of it; Mewtwo. Mewtwo went upon a horrific rampage and escaped to hide in a cave. Man took a creature of my creation and modified it horribly, and transformed it into something I could barely cast my eyes upon; for it was wretched: Genesect. A meteor had been hit with a Beam of Man, and it had transformed into an ethereal entity, one which I longed to destroy, but could not, for I feared of Man corrupting me.
Thus came Mewtwo, Genesect, and Deoxys.
My creation was for naught, it seems, for I have been discovered. A human walks into my realm, the Hall of Creation. His name is Lucas, he says, and he wishes to battle me. I cannot resist, naturally, for some urge for competition wells inside of me. He sends out one of my own creations, to my surprise, the Bearer of Time; Dialga. With several blows, I am near felling, I cannot believe my weakness. I am nearing capture. With a burst of Strength, I slayed the human and freed my creations. Dialga escaped, being free, and retreated to his realm of Time.
Thus came my lust for Atonement.
I rose high above Gaia, and with a shout, summoned meteors to attack it, its cries unheard as my Rage consumes me. Naught can be done, for the my Misery for Man, my Misery for Creation, is finally justified in a single blow. Man is devastated, and they try in vain to appeal to me. Their Sin is far too great to not be ignored, as thus, Gaia is Atoned.
Thus came the fall of Gaia, the fall of Man, and the fall of Creation.
With a roar, the whole of the universe began to seal itself away, and my roars of struggle, realizing my wrongs, come in vain. Soon, I feel the old prison of before enveloping me, my cries dimmed as I return to quiet, everlasting sleep…
Thus comes the fall of Arceus.
